Networking and Events

9:00am - 4:30pm, Tue 28-09-10AICV Conference - Finger on the Pulse

What does the future hold for the arts in Victoria in this all important Victorian election year? Finger on the Pulse will offer a series of forums and workshops to investigate this topical question in a one day conference at the North Melbourne Town Hall.

In the lead up to the Victorian State election in November, political representatives from Labor, the Victorian Liberal Nationals Coalition and the Greens including Peter Batchelor MP, Minister for the Arts; Ted Baillieu MP, Leader of the Victorian Opposition, Leader of the Coalition and Shadow Minister for the Arts; and Sue Pennicuik MLC, The Australian Greens – Victoria, will present their respective arts platforms and address pivotal questions at the AICV Conference Finger on the Pulse.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to network, take part in workshops and explore ways forward for our local arts industry.
