The Arts Industry Council (Victoria) is the independent voice for the arts.

AIC(V) was established as a non-profit organisation in 1989 – a peak industry body to enable all sectors of arts activity in Victoria to speak with a common voice.

Our membership includes individual practitioners and arts organisations ranging from small independent companies to large state cultural institutions.

We research and lobby on behalf of our constituency and contribute to public debate by providing leadership and forums for discussion within the sector.

Our focus includes local, state and federal issues in Australia with a primary focus on state issues. We are funded solely by our membership.
